# Background Image

Elevate your website's visual appeal with a subtle background image on the homepage. This carefully integrated design element enhances the ready-made styles of the theme, adding a touch of sophistication and allure.

You also have the flexibility to customize the background color to suit your branding and design preferences.

## How to enable/disable?

To enable first navigate to your **Page Builder** [*(how to launch Page Builder?)*](/themes/halo-one/halo-one-theme.md#page-builder)

When inside the page builder, locate and click on the **Homepage** tab. To enable homepage background image, select the checkbox labeled **Enable default background image**. 

If you prefer a solid background color without an image, simply disable this section by unchecking the checkbox. This will remove the image and provide a clean and minimalistic look for your website.
